In his letter to Titus, Paul tells his protege to see to it that his church lives in a manner characterized by “sound doctrine” (Titus 2:1). He points out that one of the ways this is done is for older women to teach younger women “what is good” so that the word of God may not be reviled (Titus 2:3, 5). Considering the important role that women play, both in the growth of other ladies as well as (for mothers) the children in their own home, we think it vitally important to encourage and equip the women in our church in the unique roles that God has given them within the body. Our monthly Women’s Study is one of the methods we use to try to engage in this discipleship process. The topic for 2019-20 is Leading With Love by Alexander Strauch. The study meets at church on the first Saturday of every month from 10:45 AM-12:00 PM.
