This Sunday's bulletin is up online here. What does Jesus' healing of a paralytic in Capernaum teach us about His mission? Ryan will explain in this week's message from Matthew 9:1-8, "The King's Authority over Sin." We will be singing one hymn that is not in our hymnal. If you'd like to hear the tune before Sunday, you can find it here. Please remember that we’ll be meeting downstairs for the morning service, and we’ll be having a meal together immediately afterwards. We are also celebrating the Lord’s Table, so please prepare yourselves for this time in worship together.
Also, please remember that we will not be meeting at the church for our evening service. The Spring River Baptist Association is celebrating its 175th anniversary at Risen Ranch Cowboy Church. Activities start at 4:00. There’s a chuck wagon dinner at 4:30, and the service starts at 5:30. The address is 10697 Cimarron Rd, Carthage, MO 64836, or follow the link here.
The men's breakfast is this coming Saturday (October 11) at 8:00. The men will be discussing chapter thirteen of The Exemplary Husband, "A Husband's Resolve: Humility & Service."
If you haven't had a chance to do so please read our update about Clint Andrews' candidacy for the office of elder. You can find it here. Also, please remember that the date for the congregational meeting has been set for October 12.
