This week's bulletin is online here. Corruption is an all too common occurrence in government. It's not unusual to hear about one politician or another using their power to benefit themselves rather than to serve the public that elected them. Unfortunately, the same kind of thing often happens in church leadership. Men and women seek positions of power or authority in the church not to serve their brothers and sisters in Christ but to serve themselves. How does the Christian keep from falling prey to this kind of attitude? How do they avoid falling under the sway of such leaders? Ryan will explain this Sunday in a message from Matthew 23:1-12 entitled "Avoiding Hypocrisy."

For Sunday school we will continue to prepare for our upcoming "Worldviews" Sunday school class by listening to a message by Al Mohler entitled "Nowhere to Hide? Facing the Reality of the Secular Moment."

Please remember that we will celebrate the Lord's Table together at the conclusion of our service. Please take a moment before church to reflect on your life in Christ and repent of any known sin before coming to worship on Sunday so that you might be able to take the Table in a worthy manner (cf. 1 Cor. 11:27-32).

Also, please remember that there will be a fellowship meal directly after church, and there will be NO Sunday evening discussion this week.
